The new website for the ‘Synaptic role in cognitive disabilities’ network was launched on the XX.
The ‘Synaptic role in cognitive disabilities’ network organises an internal programme for the mobility of students between partner groups. These are short stays funded by the network to allow exchange of knowledge between laboratories.
Final resolution from the Spanish ‘Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad’ granting funding to our network. This funding is part of the Programa Estatal de Fomento de la Investigación Científica y Técnica de Excelencia, Subprograma Estatal de Generación de Conocimiento, Acciones de dinamización “Redes de Excelencia”.
The study entitled “DYRK1A-mediated phosphorylation of GluN2A at Ser(1048) regulates the surface expression and channel activity of GluN1/GluN2A receptors” directed by Dr. Altafaj in collaboration with Dr. Sindreu has just been published in Frontiers in Cellular Neuroscience.
The inaugural meeting of the ‘Synaptic role in cognitive disabilities’ network will take place on the 4th of February in 2015 at the Instituto de Biología Molecular ‘Severo Ochoa’.
